Pastels as a Medium Workshop Series - 6 Weeks
During this 6 class session, you will be guided through the process of creating landscapes in different seasons using soft pastels and an alcohol wash. You will be taught the underpaintings process, scumbling, different layering techniques, and blending.

During this 6 class weekly session, you will be guided through the process of creating landscapes in different seasons using soft pastels and an alcohol wash. You will be taught the underpaintings process, scumbling, different layering techniques, and blending. We will talk about perspective and color. No experience is necessary...only an interest to learn and have fun. Or, an opportunity to fine tune your skills. I will paint with you as I provide one to one instruction.
-All materials are supplied by the instructor every class. Please let the instructor know if you would like to purchase a kit that can be brought back and forth to the studio.
-This once a week, six week series also includes free independant studio time in the ArtWRKD space to further what you have learned. Sign ups will be available when the class series begins.
