ArtWRKD Community Gathering Initiative | 2026
The Third Space
Gathering as Resistance. Creation as Connection.
In response to growing disconnection and isolation in our society,
ArtWRKD is launching a 2026 initiative rooted in gathering as a form of resistance—
a return to shared space, shared making, and shared purpose.
The ArtWRKD upstairs workshop and gallery will be opened to our broader community as a place for education, creation, repair, dialogue, and joy. This initiative is an invitation to artists, organizers, and community builders to claim space for meaningful connection.
The Space
The ArtWRKD workshop and gallery has always held possibility—incredible energy and a little magic. In 2026, it becomes a living container for ideas, hands-on learning, and collective experience.
The space will be available for:
-
Artist-led workshops and classes
-
Artist-curated exhibitions and pop-up shows
-
Mending circles and skill-sharing gatherings
-
Community suppers and shared meals
-
Open mics, readings, and performances
-
Private artist studio or project development time
-
Monthly creative project incubations
-
Gatherings rooted in healing, education, and community enrichment
If it nurtures creativity, connection, or care—it belongs here.
How It Works
-
The space will be available via a daily/weekend/monthly rental rate
-
A sign-up calendar will launch in February 15th 2026, allowing you to block dates
