Course Description

Egg tempera is an ancient painting medium that combines egg yolk with powdered pigment, known for its luminous, jewel-like color and precision. This intensive course introduces students to traditional preparation methods and application techniques including cross-hatching, stippling, and glazing, culminating in a finished painting.
