Building upon a completed silverpoint portrait, students will learn to transform their drawing into a luminous egg tempera painting using traditional Renaissance materials and techniques.

Discover the beauty of moonlit landscapes through the timeless combination of silver leaf and oil painting. Students will create a luminous nocturnal landscape inspired by historical techniques while learning how to manipulate value, color temperature, atmosphere, and transparent oil glazes.
