Book Arts- The Altered Book
Transform a pre-existing printed book into an art object using, image transfer, collage, paper weaving and other techniques traditional of book arts medium.
Explore methods of developing stories, integrating text and imagery and incorporating found objects to make a unique book of one’s own. We will discuss creating a world within a world.
*Lunch break time will be included in the workshop schedule and provided. It will be a time for the participants to discuss and reflect on their creative work, get to know one another and allow for fresh eyes when returning to the work. Lunch will be provided by our local cafes. Please email artcurator@artwrkd.com with any dietary restrictions.
*No previous experience necessary.
