LUCINE KAPLAN
LUCINE is the first-and-only known artist in her fiber craft, working with torn pantyhose and custom-built canvases on a 2D plane. Through this unconventional medium, she constructs tactile drawings that blur the line between fragility and resistance. Her practice interrogates the garment medium as both subject and technique, inviting a feminist view of materials historically tied to conformity and commodification, rebellion and liberation.
