Painting Fundamental with artist Michael Leaver

Join us Dec 15th for a night of "nocturnes", painting the bright city lights in vibrant oil paints, with oil painter, Michael Leaver. Michael specializes in impressionistic realism and is known for their colorful paintings of the city at night.

The workshop will start with a brief lesson from Michael about the techniques used when painting Nocturnes, such as color theory, textures and composition, and the 7 elements of creating compelling artwork. Workshop attendees will be offered a choice of 10 night scenes, or you can bring your own image to paint from, printed or on your phone/tablet.

All skill levels are welcome. All materials are provided, but bring your favorite colors, brushes and tools if you prefer.

Workshop fee is $130, and includes all materials, paint and brushes.
