Includes all supplies, a copy of Hilary's book and a hand-inscribed bamboo brush to keep. You will take home a collection of spontaneous paintings to share and enjoy.

Our busy and demanding lives often deplete us of a sense of balance and wholeness. Conscious creativity can help nourish the spirit and restore a sense of joy and ease.

Using simple meditation and movement practices we will connect with the body and the present moment, this helps to open a space for creativity to flow with unlimited possibilities. Throughout the workshop the instructor will offer poems and contemplations to ignite the creative spark. Participants will create a collection of spontaneous paintings and receive a hand-inscribed bamboo brush to keep.

About the instructor:

Hilary has a B.A. in Integrative Arts. Her work has been exhibited at the State Museum of Pennsylvania and other venues.  She is the author of the book “Waking Up With Art”. Her meditation practice is supported by ongoing participation in retreats, training and courses to deepen her understanding. She is a graduate of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teaching practicum through the Center for Mindfulness at Jefferson University. She has traveled to India to study Tibetan arts and Buddhist culture. In her former career as a marketing executive, she led large and small teams working with agencies in New York and Philadelphia.
